There was a player in the field at the Masters 2012 that was using a Piretti Teramo HS 365 gram putter. This was very exciting for us to watch this player with a share of the lead for the first 3 days of the tournament. Ultimately the Sunday pressure must have shaken him a bit, but we are excited to see what he has in store for the rest of the year.

Piretti has a top finish in Puerto Rico
We’ve had a very successful first couple of events on the PGA Tour this year. Mike Johnson made his PGA Tour debut at the Honda Classic in West Palm Beach and picked up a couple very promising players. One of them finished top 25 at the Honda and then went on to a 3rd place finish in Puerto Rico. He is using the Teramo HS 365 gram putter and has been putting very well.
Next stop was the Nationwide Tour in Broussard, LA. Mike really enjoys doing Nationwide Tour events because he says the players are more approachable and the environment is a little more laid back. He was able to pick up 4 new players in Louisiana.
On Monday the 26th we will be out at the Shell Houston Open and are looking forward to an event here at home. The tournament attracts a very good field with the course setup and the fact that it is the week before the Masters. We will keep you posted with the success we are having on the PGA Tour.
Piretti on Youtube.com
In the coming months we will be posting random videos on youtube.com explaining the different styles of putters, putting strokes, finishes and everything that has to do with putters. We will also be posting some tips on how to become a better putter and drills to get you there. Here is the link to our youtube page.

Piretti with a top 5 finish at the Viking Classic
Mike Johnson rolled into Madison, MS at around 2:00pm on Monday afternoon. When he arrived and stepped out of his car he was surprised to feel the 115 heat index and knew it was going to be a very hot week. As many of you know the Viking Classic is played the same week as the British Open. Players that didn’t make it to the British Open come to the Viking Classic to stay sharp and try and move up in the PGA Tour money standings. This particular week Piretti had 5 total putters in play on Thursday and we collected our first top 5 finish. We are very excited about our progress on the PGA Tour. When we did our first PGA Tour event here in Houston we had several equipment manufacturers tell us how hard the first year on Tour is. They told us if we got a single putter in play this year we would be doing very well. So far we’ve had a putter in play every event since the Shell Houston Open so we are very excited about our progress and are committed to become the #1 milled putter played on the PGA Tour.
Piretti on the PGA Tour
We just wanted to give our followers a quick update on PIretti’s tour presence so far this year. Our team has participated in several tournaments on the Nationwide, Champions and PGA tours. As we have set up our bag and putters on the practice green we have been pleasantly surprised at the feedback and reception we have received from the touring professionals. Many of the top players have practiced with our models both on the practice green and in practice rounds. All the players that have tried them out have had positive comments regarding the quality, design and feel of the Piretti line. We are pleased to report that in such a short time Piretti putters have been utilized by several players on each of the three major tours.
We will continue our presence on tour and we are confident that players will validate the quality of our line by continuing to put our putters in tournament play.
